SERIES: MAJOR ELEMENTS DESCRIBING OUR GOD( A LOOK AT WATER-PART 2)

So, very soon you'll grab your breakfast I'm sure &when choked or after it all, you'll sooth it down with some WATER.

YOU KNOW THAT  UNDENIABLE FEELING?

We continue with  the series 'KEY ELEMENTS DESCRIBING OUR GOD' SERIES.
Water is our focus.  This is Part 2.

Continuing from the WATER ELEMENT in the New Testament,Jesus knew this, that's why he crowned it all for us in John 4 with the Samaritan woman.

It was the well (water)experience.These are some key verses from that:

v.10 " ...IF YOU KNEW THE GIFT OF GOD, AND WHO IT IS WHO SAYS TO YOU, ‘GIVE ME A DRINK, YOU WOULD HAVE ASKED HIM AND HE WOULD HAVE GIVEN YOU LIVING WATER.”

The woman said to Him,
V.11 "SIR, YOU HAVE NOTHING TO DRAW WITH, AND THE WELL IS DEEP. WHERE THEN DO YOU GET THAT LIVING WATER?  

Jesus answered and said to her
V.13-14
'WHOEVER DRINKS OF THIS WATER WILL THIRST AGAIN, BUT WHOEVER DRINKS OF THE WATER THAT I SHALL GIVE HIM WILL NEVER THIRST.
BUT THE WATER THAT I SHALL GIVE HIM WILL BECOME IN HIM A FOUNTAIN OF WATER SPRINGING UP INTO EVERLASTING LIFE.'

Water here stood in the place of the word. Beloved, as essential as water is in our lives, so does he want us to place his word. 

We ask this question:

What would we do without water???...For we use in our foods, washing, manufacturing, can travel on it, to cool off.

                       WE KNOW WE'LL DEFINITELY DIE WITHOUT IT.

We intimated that Water mainly makes the human body.
Beloved, the WORD of GOD does not mainly make you but it wholly& entirely makes you.

And so, anytime we yearn for water just like the deer pants, Jesus says come to me &I'll give you living water.

So, just as we know we're dead without water, it should remind us of how dead we (were)are without the WORD(GOD himself)

 

By the time I conclude the whole series, you'll find out why these elements can only describe& not be equated to .(TAKE NOTE)

WATER IS A KEY ELEMENT DESCRIBING  OUR LORD.
