When the GLORY of GOD comes down…..There is Empowerment,Change &Transformation

 *When the GLORY of GOD comes down…..

It’s a 2-pronged one.👇🏻

*We’re Empowered for his Work & there is also that change & Transformation in People’s lives (in all aspects albeit diverse)

_In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation. 1 Peter 5:10_ (Rom. 12:2, 2 Cor. 3:18)

Shall we also understand that for that empowerment , tangible change, real growth and total transformation  to come; it can only be when his Glory descend. ( This is reciprocal or a two- way stream and we’ll briefly touch on it on Friday)

And of course, they still start from the heart, those inward internal spiritual processes. The only difference is that: 

*There Empowerment, Change & Transformation  can be both radical and gradual towards the intended goal. Scripture and even our life happenings all attest to this.

And this happens  in mainly two situations- *when all of a sudden  a new, unknown or even an unexpected face spring up from nowhere with that fire OR….

When it’s about  Going through the Process/Mill, Preparing yourself, Being Refined and Basically Understanding the Waiting /Patience season to be READY. ( All in line with God’s purpose for us)

Beloved, our message today is simply saying- 

*There are those we never knew or even know well but never thought of or expected  that they could be used for kingdom mandate. And out of nowhere, all we see are them so on fire.

For such people, you’ll soon get to understand that all their lives thus far were preparing them for this. They may still have to learn, unlearn and relearn  when they enter the ministry fold but that’s how God has fashioned it out.




*And there are those who from the early years it has been said- their lives, words, mannerisms, disposition and their life journeys in general affirms it  all. Of course, the learning in ministry never stops but by the time the time is due, you’ll know there are indeed ready and made for this.

And once again this is possible because the Glory of God came down and  spread through his People like wildfire causing such real heartfelt  Change & whether radical  or gradual.

Classical features include but not limited to 

*Abraham( Father of all nations) in Gen. 11 onwards- He had to go through the mill in order to set that foundations for many to follow.

*Saul /Paul makes another feature here too. (Acts 7 onwards ) Sprang from nowhere  after persecuting God’s people yet we found out God was going to use all that & turn it around for his kingdom( being learned, radical, daring, result oriented, passionate and more)

*There is Moses, Gideon, even Jesus’ earthly parents - Mary & Joseph are all examples. ( So many more examples)

*Beloved, Our Prayer is that as it pertains to you, as his GLORY COMES DOWN, May you catch IT and not miss your divine mandate of  whether through the gradual or radical approach of Empowerment, Change and Transformation in the lives of his people and the many around us.

We‘ll be Changed. We’ll be Transformed. We’ll be Glorious, moving from Glory to Glory.*
