ON THIS MORNING (OTM)

  It is a Fleeting Glory Very Time Bound And it is not like you do not know Yet… Yet what wouldn’t you do to get it After All… So Why not same for the Eternal Glory?…

“ So Noah did everything as the lord commanded him. Genesis 7:5” Just as Noah was able to, we come to you as well….Help us to also do Everything that you’ve commanded us.

The Real Question is- Is that all there is to Life? *And if those who have the money& wealth are still not fulfilled and even want more… *And if those famous with all the recognition réalises that it just doesn’t guarantee a Happy Life.. *And if those who are single are unperturbed about the marriage bit or are eager to enter into the marriage ‘net’/ ‘haven’ Meanwhile, for those already in there, they either want out or battling with the next stage- Childbirth say. *And those with Children seriously have to come to terms with the enormity of raising them and how tricky it can be. *And how the young person who simply thought it was just about school, good grades, networking, juicy job offer, life ...

Our base Scripture from 1Cor. 15 “_As was the earthly man, so are those who are of the earth; and as is the heavenly man, so also are those who are of heaven. And just as we have borne the image of the earthly man, so shall we bear the image of the heavenly man.”_1 Corinthians‬ ‭15‬:‭48‬-‭49‬. There is a Glory, an Image, and a Likeness i bear with my ‘Earthly Father’. I can’t do anything about it. Not even if I try. Not even when I like or do not like it. He has deposited something in me. That something that ties and binds us forever. In fact, who I am, will be, will be eternally linked to that lineage that he bears. It becomes ingrained in me that I just have  to accept that this is who I am. Imagine, tomorrow, I wake up to find out that my FATHER is not my FATHER. Then I ask again in total bewilderment- “Truly, Truly, HE IS NOT MY FATHE…?” There will be a hopeless look at Self, Thoughts running wild, Question pouring in, It’s Like a Part of Me Gone, My Whole Life a Lie?…..  *When the GLORY of GOD comes down….. It’s a 2-pronged one.👇🏻 *We’re Empowered for his Work & there is also that change & Transformation in People’s lives (in all aspects albeit diverse) _ In his kindness God called you to share in his eternal glory by means of Christ Jesus. So after you have suffered a little while, he will restore, support, and strengthen you, and he will place you on a firm foundation. 1 Peter 5:10_ (Rom. 12:2, 2 Cor. 3:18) Shall we also understand that for that empowerment , tangible change, real growth and total transformation  to come; it can only be when his Glory descend. (  This is reciprocal or a two- way stream and we’ll briefly touch on it on Friday) And of course, they still start from the heart, those inward internal spiritual processes. The only difference is that:  *There Empowerment, Change & Transformation  can be both radical and gradual towards the intended goal. Scripture and even our life happenings all attest...

 On Digest today are these two verses and we keep both of them for a reason. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (NIV) _*19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.* Frankly, I have quoted them separately on many occasions but had not taken  notice that they were two different verses until we were led to do a digest on it thereby spotting the clear similarities and relations. Beloved, bear in mind that Every (Change) Phase in your Life has its Challenges, Lessons, Rewards and finally Crowns with Glory. We look to get too  comfortable on earth...Grabbing everything, Coveting any other, Cheating  everyone, Discrimating amongst ourselves and letting any other thing be our prime concern other than eternity.  We are continually  laying our treasures here on earth and putting  our Heart in them so much  so that we are afraid  to die. _(Whichever way it is never easy but this is the point... )_ Times such as this affords us the opportunity to sit back and review our ways,  simply  asking ourselves *if We are heavenly minded enough...* even as we pursue  in all our *good* gettings.  Once again,  our continuing passage in  Job is of help. #Meditate    _From whose womb comes the ice? Who gives birth to the frost from the heavens. When the waters become hard as stone, when the surface of the deep is frozen?_  _"Can you bind the beautiful Pleiades? Can you loose the cords of Orio...

Oh how we believe in the God who exist more than the same God who is ever living, most potent and all knowing.   If he sees&knows it all,then it's the more to ask Why oh Lord... But then again,  it is even more reason to trust him for he knows all he does & never goes wrong.  Times such as this speaks to us in every kind of way but most importantly to stop playing  with God and really commit to the one who hold  this universe in his hands. *Shall we treat God as the GOD  that he really is?* #OurLives #Everybit...Let this passage  from the book of Job be of help. #Meditate _"Have you journeyed to the springs of the sea or walked in the recesses of the deep?Have the gates of death been shown to you? In these times, I believe  this one thing should  be our utmost desire  and prayer- To see God above all the happenings, To draw nigh  to him and let him order  our steps till we finally  get to him.  I believe  the ensuing  passage  in Job affords  the opportunity to think deeply of him  and see his greatness even as rely on him.  Let's  Meditate! _Then the LORD answered Job out of the storm. He said:"Who is this that darkens my counsel with words without knowledge?_ _Brace yourself like a man; I will question you, and you shall answer me."Where were you when I laid the earth's foundation? Tell me, if you understand._ _Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know!
