The name of the LORD is a strong tower; The righteous runs to it and is safe and set on high [far above evil].

Don’t you think I would have gone far if …Okay hear this…

*Imagine if I was a Royal or from a Royal lineage?…

*Imagine If I was or affiliated to the First Gentleman of the Land?…

*Imagine if I knew or connected to the most prominent persons in society… the mere mention of their names and…

*In the book of Esther chapter 4, I In saving her people, Esther had cause to tell Mordecai that he couldn’t just go to the King’s presence unless duly invited or cleared by the golden scepter otherwise she dies.

Mordecai response summed up to the fact she was now affiliated to royalty and so…
For if you keep silence at such a time as this, relief and deliverance will rise for the Jews from another quarter, but you and your father’s family will perish. Who knows? Perhaps you have come to royal dignity for just such a time as this.
(“Partly, That Royalty heritage saved her and eventually her people”)

Flipping the Coin….
*That Name- is it able to open doors at all times, able to give that due honour at all times, able to save, heal, silence those enemies at all times…

…ABLE TO DO ALL THINGS?….

*Even if it does, see how limited it is, see how it can’t do it again even in a much glorious fashion, see how you still need greater help after that?….

*How we know or hear a lot of people with powerful surnames and royalty yet so full of a lot of void in their lives that must be filled.

BUT there is a NAME, greatest of all that is MORE THAN ABLE TO DO ALL THINGS- The NAME of JESUS. ðŸ“Œ





What this simply means?…. Even though we know from the WORD&human experiences not to trust in man(names) but as canal beings,when such (names) tickle our fancy by temporarily elevating us to different heights, we forget it all and tend to bask in them more than the God who made it all happen.

We’ve all had doors open for us just because of a name or connection we had….Great, enjoyable experience and forever grateful we are yet we get to know it was just the beginning and that if it wasn’t for God…

Those who rely, bask and boast in such names- Have you sat with one before?… So nauseating!!!
“Ooh even the Prez was there last month, …But I was at his Birthday bash last weekend…..Even that’s where all the Big men gather every week….And that rich man came for our help the last time?…”. Yet they themselves, their lives???…

Borrowing from Proverbs, it will be foolhardy to rely on names, family inheritance or connections to DO LIFE. But One Name Does IT.

A NAME, greatest of all that is MORE THAN ABLE TO DO ALL THINGS- The NAME of JESUS. ðŸ“Œ

Dear one,Don’t trivialize it but learn from it all. The Pride & height many take, continues to YET… And so Like every other thing, it has that tendency to steal us from God,steal his Glory from him and only hand us with a fleeting paltry glory. Be Watchful.

Therefore I say…
Our penchant to quickly run to the notables and prestigious we know and who knows us CAN easily make us forget our God especially when it proves “successful.” You begin to run to it at all times forgetting that there is a God who made it happen.
Your hope and trust tend to be on that big name….until it fails, then your epiphany moments set in..(And until it happens again, do we learn at all?…)

Ooh YES it sure CAN, the reason we need to guard it right putting in its rightful place.
