(Man’s Glory v. God’s Glory)* John 12:42-43 _ Nevertheless, many even of the authorities believed in him, but for fear of the Pharisees they did not confess it, so that they would not be put out of the synagogue; *for they loved the glory that comes from man more than the glory that comes from God._ A  precursor to this message had these pointers- *Is there even a Debate?…. *Is there even a tussle?… *Do they Clash?…. *Why Should it be Discussed?… *Ain’t we afraid even?…. *What’s IN IT then??….  I am sure these and more were your thoughts the moment i raised this topic. Who am I?…..Who am I to rival this BIG GOD ?….The one who  made and created me?….Eeeeii *Beloved, as quickly and innocently as we are, to raise those hands, I am here to tell you WE DO….WE CLASH with HIM at all times?….The Tussle is ongoing as we speak.* So Yes…..Unconsciously, Unwittingly, and Unknowingly we compete with God with his Glory not with our lips but in our hearts and with our continuous deeds. ...

Always in the business of doing something, making anew, restoring, having intimacy, miracle working, doing what we call the ‘impossible’, comforting, healing ,rebuking, answering your prayers and generally operating according to his will . For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven. Ecclesiastes 3:1 There was a Time when God dealt with man directly, then to when his Son came for our Redemption and to now manifesting himself as the Holy Spirit living inside of us. In between the Seasons, there was a Dispensation of the Prophets,Judges running through now where we’re all vessels for his use. There is a Time and Season for everything.  What is raining this season,  This year,  This month,  And presently this stage of your Life.
