4. Regular Investment in Prayer& Fasting 🎉(How To Attact His Glory-The Nine-Pointer Guide)
(Are You Ready for this ‘Life-Long Thing’)
I recently got a deeper understanding and real meaning into the Pray without Ceasing verse from our annual Prayer& Fastingprogramme. That is because I realised that I was littering bits and pieces of prayer at every point in time, everywhere with the little chance I got. And that was because I had set out to really commit to those moments with God as we ushered ourselves into th year. I was well connected to my source& needn’t need any special time to commune with God…. It was an Everyday thing.
Hello and Welcome to Attracting His Glory- ‘The Regular Prayer &Fasting Investment’ How.
And so Yes you know ‘Pray without Ceasing’ ….And yes again, you know of’ This kind goes only by Prayer& FASTING’(1Thess 5:17& Matt. 17:21)
How many are the kinds that don’t go away except by Prayer& Fasting?….(a lot without number )
And for Pray without Ceasing…Need I tell you it is a life-long thing…Are We Really Ready???
Two Things here:
First, Into the verse ‘Pray without Ceasing’, I see not only the ones who are to pray at all times but the other (God, our source) who desires relationship, intimacy & a special time of bonding from his unique like minded creations- YOU.
*For the Fasting Verse, It’s not Just fast in addition so as to show that (spiritual) might& power as may be interpreted but I see the master teaching us that, at certain times sacrifice, discipline & focus is required to draw out that needed strength & power for those glorious assignments ahead.
I don’t know how we want to be Glorious when we don’t want to spend time with the King of Glory.
For the umpteenth time, Prayer is ‘JUST A (Lovely, Intimate, Wholesome) TALK WITH GOD’. That is it. Simplicita. No long Explanations.
And What Does Fasting do or add to it- Clearing all the Space, any distraction and making sure that God fully has YOU.
And so if you’re to spend such an undivided attention, basking in the Glorious One, the king of Glory; Tell me, how will you not be Glorious???
There’s more…. If God wants you to talk to HIM at all times, then it very well means he’s always open to you, ready to Listen, Connect, Gist and Vibe with you as we’ll say now…( and you know what it means to vibe with someone)…. Your God knows you and you also get to know him even more with all those intricate details.
With this, he enables you to go out to fulfill that mandate from a real place, knowing who you have engaged, WHO IS WITH YOU, who has sent you, given you that understanding, that clarity and sense of purpose. You tend to see yourself as the one there who need that help or saving hence…..
And so it is a total experience borne out of spending time with God.
Therefore, if that requires a greater level of commitment and sacrifice by fasting into it – in its many forms (Dry, Solitude times, Refrain from those everyday things you love) just so you can fulfil that mandate and drive his glory down.,why not.
Simply, you’re with the one you love, wanting to spend quality, unfettered time her. You forget Food, Time and even yourself because you’re with your Love.
This is how God wants us to forget ourselves when we are with him. He’s our Source, the Love of our lives, our Bridegroom, our missing piece, completing us at every stage. With this, It can only be Glory at this point.
Not all sailing, as you continue to commune with him, he allows you to bare it all – Your Thanksgiving, Praise, Supplications,Struggles, Doubts, Misgivings, Fears, Sorrows, Delays, Denials, Lack of Understanding and even your misgivings about Him… oh yes he allows it all….. And with time, watch him turn your Sorrows to joy, Mourning into dancing, give beauty for ashes. ( It is like a Spiritual Investment made, he’ll make it yield its returns in due time)
Relationally, a lot of people prayed to God in the scriptures but the height of it all was when Jesus wanted to give up saying let this cup pass me by and the other was when he was hanged on the cross, saying Father, why have you forsaken me.(Matt. 26:39, 27:46)
Yet, what was the eventual outcome when he poured it all out to his father- GLORY. ( Yours Will also be same-GLORIOUS) 
In attaining/attracting his Glory, Prayer and Fasting is pivotal because you get to experience God from a unique place that you’d get from no one and nowhere except from your personal closet with him…And ooh i can tell you his Glory will come down.
