*"BRIBING" GOD*

On June 6 this year, Ghana's Celebrated Investigative Journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas outdoored his exposé on bribery &corruption on Ghana Football.The aftermath of it is still raging.

Over the period,Bribery& Corruption has become the nation's bane.It is difficult  to believe there are still some decent people around today who don't give or take Bribes.

Just to let you KNOW, THERE STILL ARE.It never gets easy but *Take that stand to live such an upright life&God will forever be your help no matter the circumstance.*

This is a short 'cony-faced-like'😉 prayer I make to God intermittently within the day when he continues to do those 'little' things & just sometimes when I want something. When I do that, I ask myself-Are you trying to Bribe God?...Kinda😀

*Beloved,GOD CAN NEVER BE BRIBED*

So why then attribute such a defaming act "Bribery" to the one and only divine God?

For many, if there is anything that can bribe God, it is Praise,Worship, Holiness,Sowing seeds, Soul winning and the like.

*However, one thing we forget is that all the above&more   only begin from a Broken&Contrite heart...One that is ever open,ready& willing to not only live but even die for God....*

*...Then, moving on it becomes a dedicated & sold out heart to God...(Meekness)*

_The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. (Psalm 51:17)_

Abraham after *willingly* leaving his comfortable abode when logically there was no sense to, was even ready to sacrifice his only son back to  the same God who had promised to make  him the father of all nations.

Yes,it was Faith but mind you Faith thrives on a fertile soil(The Heart) which must be broken& sold heart to God.

And David, he just fits this _"Bribing God equation"._ To think that after all the lust, adultery, evil plotting,murder,Family wranglings...God's verdict on him was a man after my own heart. It all started from those youthful days whiles tending the sheep as he dedicated his body,heart& soul to God. He was ready to do virtually everything for God even in his sins.

Of course, they are not immune from God's punishment.However, for such people, they may seem to have "bribed God"_ as when they commit the sins the dirtiest sinner won't even do,God is still with them.

Beloved, the reason might just be this👆🏻. Indeed, God looks at the heart. One that may sin so bad but the very good is that they would always run to God for forgiveness, cleansing,Renewal & Grace to really live & be a better Christian.

One verse I advisedly 'fear'...Prov. 29:1-
_'Whoever remains stiff-necked after many rebukes will suddenly be destroyed--without remedy.'_

This means God  continues to work on us...THIS IS IT:I pray the only constant God's word&his spirit will work on our hearts such it will be forever Open, broken,Contrite, ready&sold out to God.

_All these things my hand has made, and so all these things came to be,declares the LORD. But this is the one to whom I will look: he who is humble and contrite in spirit and trembles at my word. Isaiah 66:2_

*When we do this,we 'bribe' God &no matter what, he will do all we want because he can do all he wants through us.*
