Image
We continue with SUA ME!..LEARN FROM ME! (As said intentionally using more of the TWI) 3nti wo nsua me ohn?... Won't you learn from me? (Just kidding once again) Okay, so we ended yesterday on two (2) classical situations of what 'SUA ME' could mean. Let's look at both situations once again: " Hw3 mede3 sua me oo. Na s3 me de3 obiara nim s3 me dwo, me bu ade3,me p3 Nipa, me ny3 basabasa. Wo sua me a,3b3 boa wo ankasa" (This literally means Hey, you better Learn from me oo.As for me, Everybody knows I'm calm, respectful, friendly and not a bad person. If you learn from me, it will really help you.) The other one: "Tie me wate. 3ny3 s3 me de3 me tene na 3mom y3 sua sua y3n ho. Ad3n nti na wa ma  abufuo ahy3 wo so saa. Aden nti na wo nsua wei nfiri me ho..." (Please listen to me very well.  It's not to say I'm perfect in every sense but we learn from one another. So, why have you allowed anger to control you.Why do...

'SUA ME...LEARN FROM ME' (PART 1)(1 COR.4:10-17, 11:1)

Sua me!... Learn from me! Yes, youu.So what if you learn from me?...'3nti wo sua me a, na ay3 d3n?' (Just kidding here) Let's get into today's message and you'll understand better. First, two(2) teaser situations of what to expect. 'Hw3 sua me ooo, na s3 me de3... Look, you better learn from me ooo, you know that as for me...' 'Nipa de3 ade3 wo obi ho na 3y3 a,na w'asua ...As humans, if there is anything good about another, it's good you learn. Today, I do another Twi title. I know i seem to be going that line these days. '3ny3 me ooo...it's not me ooo.' (I do this as led) Also, forgive me, those who are not too conversant with Twi. It's not because I won't translate since I've always done that but because I would be using a lot of it today. ( Anyway, Twi is generally the predominant Ghanaian language belonging to the Akan tribe) So let's go for the details now: " Hw3 mede3 Sua me oo. ...

SURPRISE THE WORLD! PROCLAIM THE WORD!!!(PART 2)

Image
( Exodus 9:16 , Jeremiah 3:12 , Deuteronomy 32:3 , 2 Timothy 4:2-5 )  Yesterday, we looked at the above title. The Part 2 is here.  I'm sure  by now you know that noone can stop you from PROCLAIMING THE WORD TO SURPRISE THE WORLD. So today let me tell you some of the real life practical ways God has used people to surprise the world with the proclamation of his Word .  My daily bread on October 7, 2015, called it PUBLIC PRAISE. This is what happened:   "Made into a YouTube video, a local opera company intentionally planted  their singers in strategic places in a Mall's Food Court. They were to interrupt the lives of  ordinary day to day shoppers  by singing to proclaim CHRIST.   They sang a simple Halleluyah chorus and to their surprise it caught up  with everyone."  That was a small simple creative packaging of God's Word. Just to think that it saved a life or  betterstill it drew someone closer to God. ...

SURPRISE THE WORLD! PROCLAIM THE WORD!!!(PART 1)

Image
( Exodus 9:16 , Jeremiah 3:12 , Deuteronomy 32:3 ,   2 Timothy 4:2-5 ) I like surprises. I think they are nice. They make the commonest of things not only look beautiful but big and precious. (Well, the surprises I’m talking about are the pleasurable ones because some can be really unpleasant and devastating.) Take something nice whether big or small. Seek or get your creative juices on, package it nicely to a friend, fiancĆ©, spouse, a parent (even an enemy) and you’ll see the magic it will do in your relationships. This element of surprise is what God wants us to carry with us everyday. That is, the element of proclaiming his word to the whole world. You see the whole world is waiting for us Christians to still proclaim the WORD OF GOD. That is, sing of his praises, show his love& for him be seen him in our speeches and actions. THEY STILL WANT TO BE SURPRISED.(Romans 8:19) This can only be fulfilled by the proclamation of his word because in him can we ...

‘ALL IN PRAISE’(PART 2) (PSALM 148)

Image
Another glorious morning to you. We say these simple words to him...LORD, WE THANK YOU.  So, we did PART 1 of 'ALL IN PRAISE'. We continue today. Our 'intro' as usual. One of the things that all creatures have in common including the ‘supremo’ (Man) is PRAISE. ( Later you’ll understand why man came last in the passage above just as God did with creation ) Simply, we were all created for worship (Praise). It’s an ‘ALL IN PRAISE’ thing as depicted in Psalm 148. We see every single creation and even heavenly beings involved in praise. Ahaa, You, yes you?... What are you doing??? Now, let’s go into the focal passage Psalm 148 and get to understand why ‘ALL IN PRAISE’, Should be in praise and Must indeed Praise. We did from Psalm 148:1-10 & we understood that PRAISE is & will be a perpetual thing.  Heavenly Beings, objects and other creatures are 'ALL IN PRAISE' so why not YOU? That is where we ended. We continue right from the...

‘ALL IN PRAISE’(PART 1) (PSALM 148)

One of the things that all creatures have in common including the ‘supremo’ (Man) is PRAISE. ( Later you’ll understand why man came last in the passage above just as God did with creation) Simply, we were all created for worship (which surely includes Praise-Isaiah43:21). It’s an ‘ALL IN PRAISE’ thing as depicted in Psalm 148. We see every single creation and even heavenly beings involved in praise . Ahaa, You, yes you?... What are you doing??? Let’s go into the focal passage Psalm 148 and get to understand why ‘ALL IN PRAISE’,should be in PRAISE and must indeed PRAISE. The V. 1-2 tells us that Praise existed even before creation. It is something that was there, done by the heavenly beings and later transferred unto the earth. ( Well, aside the other unwanted baggage that we brought upon ourselves here ) This clearly tells us PRAISE is a perpetual thing. It's said JOY IS THE SERIOUS BUSINESS OF HEAVEN. That will surely come from PRAISE which we...

‘EEEI, THIS UNPREDICTABLE GOD NONO’ (PART 2)

Image
We continue with the above title. Yes, HE IS  AN UNPREDICTABLE GOD ooo. Let’s go for our 'intro' once again: You know ‘sometimes’ I marvel at the way God does his things ooo. Well, I use ‘sometimes’ just as a matter of saying because we know he surprises us ALL THE TIME. Sometimes, you clearly know this is how God deals with you yet he still surprises us every time he does it. Again, we all believe God can do all things yet he still confounds us even the commonest ones. With these happenings, I only stop, sit, savour and say ‘EEEI, THIS UNPREDICTABLE GOD NONO’. Then, I can say for sure that there is one thing I can predict about him and that is his unpredictability. So, join me as we tell him, Lord take the wheel as we ride along along. We said we are looking at five(5) unpredictable situations of our God. We looked at three (3)of them yesterday. Let’s wrap it up with the two(2): The book of first and second Samuel pr...
