"...YOUR ANCHOR PLEASE???" (Joshua 1:1-9, Hebrew 6:19)

What is holding you?

I mean what are you standing on?

Okay,let me explain it this way:
So this lady is graciously outdoored at a function. She's looking extremely beautiful, adorned with exquisite fashions, make-up strikingly hot with a lot of accessories. 

The invited female guests can't even take their eyes off her let alone the male. Before the outdoor, a short  clip is shown of how she was made up A-N-D mouths were wide open. Is she the same person???

Beloved, I ask clearly again, WHERE OR WHAT IS THAT ANCHOR HOLDING YOU???

Clothes, Money,Beauty, America, Popularity, your Mother... LET A STRONG  WIND BLOW 'na hw3'...

A quick peep into the Sea operations& we see that titanic ship, woow BRAVURA yet let a tumultuous wind blow &its fate will be that of a sinking sand. (Link it to the issue of Life jackets in Ghana. )

The solution is an ANCHOR.
An Anchor is a heavy device that is attached to a boat/ship by a rope/chain&thrown into the water to hold it in place in the face of a strong wind.

Beloved, even surpassing this pivotal human ANCHORS; we all need these unfailingly spiritual Anchors.

*THE WORD OF GOD,
*HIS EVER PRESENCE
* HIS NEVER
UNFAILING PROMISES. 

Throughout Scripture&even now(check),great men relied on these ANCHORS...without them they were (are) doomed.

Abraham,Moses, Joshua relied on these ANCHORS in their time with God& journey with the Israelites.
Peter, Paul&Jesus himself couldn't do without this. 

What about you? What is your ANCHOR, your hope??

'WE HAVE THIS HOPE AS AN ANCHOR FOR THE SOUL, FIRM AND SECURE... ' =(JESUS)

IF I TAKE THE LADDER OFF YOUR FEET... WILL YOU BE ABLE TO SHOW YOUR ANCHOR PLEASE???
